Flu Shots August 2009 - 8/16/2009

Dear Everyone, Regular flu vaccine has arrived. Swine flu vaccine is still under production, and it will likely be late October before it becomes available. We in the medical community have been advised to vaccinate persons with the regular vaccine sooner season in order to better focus on the swine flu vaccination program by the time that vaccine arrives. WE WILL START GIVING REGULAR FLU SHOTS AUGUST 17. You do not need an appointment for flu shots, which will be given during our regular allergy shot hours and for those here for appointments. Family members may also be vaccinated, but we cannot bill insurance for them or provide any type of receipt. Payment at time of service is required for family members who are not registered patients in our practice. Cost for the vaccine is $35.00 again this year. Drs. Banks and Andrews
